Fall Dance Ensemble in Concert 2009

The LBCC Dance Program will appear in the LAC Auditorium November 20 - 22 for the Fall Dance Ensemble. Concerts begin at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, November 20-21 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 22.

The Concert is under the artistic direction of Stephanie Powell and faculty choreographers are Omowale and Frances Awe, Melanie King, Sheree King, Holly Lampe, Stephanie Powell and Lauren Thompson. LBCC student choreographers are Dylan Balderrama, Jesse Mendoza, Roberto Parris and Mario Woolfolk. Special guests from the UC Irvine Dance Department will perform an excerpt from "Don Quixote." Tickets are $10 for general admission, $7 for students, staff and seniors.

There will be a VIP Reception for $20.00 from 6:30 - 7:30pm on Saturday, November 21st in the Studio Theater - Building H. The reception will include hors d'oeuvres, an opportunity drawing, mingling with the choreographers, VIP seating in the Auditorium and a backstage tour after the Dance performance!
